The 3rd annual Přívětické FOŠNA – a memorial to Martin Mareš, took place on Saturday 20 July 2024 at the municipal swimming pool.
The 1st year of the ride through narrow pontoons, on inflated inner tubes and all anchored on the surface of the swimming pool, when the task is to try to cross the puzzle to the other side of the swimming pool via a swinging footbridge 27 m long, grew in popularity and this year the event attracted more than over 420 fans expected!
The program started at 3:00 p.m., when the moderator of the event - Ondřej Lampík Paur - took the opening words. However, during the start of the event, an endless barrage of fans from the village continued to push through the street to the swimming pool, and the registration was bursting at the seams!
Only at 15:47 was the last registration of the competitor with starting number 66 accepted! From a distance, it was clear that the event was organized at a professional level, with everything: mobile toilets, a professional photographer, mobile barriers, tents + seating for 220 people, sound system for the entire area, starting gate, announcement podium, partner branding, inflatable slide Miky Maxi, diplomas and lots of beautiful prizes for the best riders, as well as luxurious refreshments provided by Přívětická hospoda, where you could experience a gastronomic experience by village standards!
For almost 3 hours, there were two races of everyone competing to see who could finish the footbridge further. During the intermission, a children's race on crocodiles took place, when there were more crocodiles swimming in the swimming pool than in Australia, 26 each - each child saddled their own 🙂
After a very fun, friendly and exciting battle of all the participants, who fell into the water in various para-rolls and helmets, we were able to announce the winners of all categories and at the same time a joint photo of all the riders took place, when everyone took away a "wet report card". , medals, books, cleaners….
After the announcement and awarding of the prizes, free entertainment with music followed, lighting a bonfire - from the defeated Májka. In the meantime, anyone who wanted could enjoy a ride on the pedal boat, which was available all day at the swimming pool. On behalf of the municipality, we are proud that we were able to witness such a beautiful and fun event that took place at the municipal swimming pool.
It was beautiful to see that both children and adults were having fun, everyone found their own thing. As part of the event, we remembered the winner of the 1st year - Martin Mára Mareš, who we firmly believe watched over us from above with a smile.
The whole event had its own organizational complexity, it was prepared a few days in advance, so it is definitely necessary to mention and above all THANK YOU FOR THE ENERGY AND WORK to our guys and girls, who, as a TEAM, prepared this whole colossus and then cleaned it up without losing any flowers. Big thanks go to David Šilpoch, Tomáš Judl, Fand and Terce Verner, Jakub Moravec, Lukáš Ptáček, Lenka Juhová, Dominik Dvořák, Ondřej Paur, deputy mayor Adéla Moravcová and everyone else who contributed (it is impossible to name them all), because without the common thoughts of this party would not be possible!
