On Sunday, September 15, the traditional ROUVY Velká cena Vimperka will take place in the Vodník Sports Complex.
The race organized by the local ROUVY Specialized Cycling team is one of the last XCO races of this season. It is also the final race of the first year of the UCI AC Heating cup. The Šumava MTB Cup will also close its calendar this year here. As in previous years, the ROUVY Velká cena Vimperka is run as a UCI C2 race for junior and elite adult categories.
The elite riders will thus share prize money in the total amount of CZK 55,000 and also important UCI points. Valuable non-material prizes are also available for other categories thanks to our partners.
The traditional Vimperská track is enriched with new technical sections this year. A new BMX section and a drop across the stream await competitors. So both competitors and spectators have something to look forward to.
The racing program begins on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with the youngest children's races and culminates in the afternoon with the men's elite category race.

Come and see a day full of biking at the end of summer. The best Czech biker, Olympian Ondřej Cink, has also promised his participation.
Ondřej Cink: "I am happy that I can score more points on home soil as part of the new UCI series AC Heating cup. I'm looking forward to Vimperek, it's a super technical natural track and I also take it as preparation for the last two world races to America".
